PL Series Cartridge

Hilliard / Hilco Microgard™ cartridges provide reliable, long-life contamination control. These efficient filter cartridges feature three filtration layers: outer cellulose-media layer for coarse filtration , an intermediate glass-media for micro-filtration, and an inner cellulose-media layer for added support.

Safegard™ single-layer pleated paper cartridges are economical for use in applications requiring general filtration. Disposable cartridges feature molded urethane ends on various sizes. Plated metal end caps are also available with controlled radius pleats to maximize useable filtration area.

Applications

PH Series Filter Cartridge

The Hilco PH series of filter cartridges achieves the demand for higher efficiency without sacrificing dirt capacity and low pressure drop by incorporating modern synthetic filter fibers with much smaller diameters than traditional cellulose fibers. Smaller fibers take up less space in the filter matrix, leaving more room for dirt capacity. Smaller fibers also represent less resistance to fluid fl ow, maintaining lower pressure drops with closer fiber spacing and the resultant smaller pore sizes.

PD Series Water Absorbing Filter Cartridge

The Hillsorb Dryer Cartridge provides highly effective filtration to remove water and particulates from oils. It gives high performance in applications where moisture control and filtration efficiency are of primary importance including insulation, hydraulic, lube and fuel oils. The cartridge permits higher flow rates at lower pressure drops, and also features a high filtration efficiency beta ratio.

This cartridge allows more gallons of oil to be processed with fewer changes. High dielectric strength and greater stability for transformer oils.

Hydraulic equipment is protected from water damage while longer life is assured through filtration efficiency.

Applications

Hilco HP311 Series

HILCO filter cartridge HP311-12-GE is a direct replacement for Pall part number HC9601FUP11YGE. This cartridge is used in both HILCO and Pall high pressure (1800 psi) hydraulic filters on a variety of GE gas turbines. The HP311-12-GE cartridge works with both HILCO or Pall filters, and is approved by GE.

Applications

Hilco 718 Filter Housing

The Hilco 718 Housing will house any HILCO 718 cartridge designed for 2” centerposts. This includes the PL pleated cellulose and PH pleated synthetic cartridges, and PD Water Absorbing Cartridge. These swing bolt housings permit full-flow or off-line filtration of fluids at working pressures to 150 PSI and flow rates to 25 GPM.

Choice of housings that hold either (1) or (2) 718 Series elements.
